The News

It is an exciting time for me, and I am thrilled that you are part of my world here in L.A.!  I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for your support and enthusiasm.

Some of you may have heard that we recently closed our doors at Bistro LQ in Hollywood, a move I made with much deliberation, realizing after careful consideration that the focus had shifted much too far from my passion creating unique food, and also from the people and supporters I so enjoy cooking for. I realized that I was spending far too many hours managing the business and day by day, I was losing my joy in the art of food.  I had to make a difficult choice and follow my heart and so I closed the doors so that I could once again rediscover my delight and wonder in cooking here in our colorful and creative Los Angeles community.

In the months that have quickly flown by since, I have been manning the stoves at Vertical Wine Bistro in Pasadena and adding a touch of spring and of French etiquette to their fine American Bistro Fare. I have especially enjoyed our Sunday night Fried Chicken dinners and the sense of community I have been once again surrounded by from being around the energetic and food centric diners here in Pasadena.

I am also pleased to announce an exciting upcoming partnership with Starry Kitchen - a terrific and vibrant restaurant located in the heart of the Financial center in Downtown Los Angeles. I can't wait to return to cooking on a regular basis downtown Los Angeles where my feet became firmly planted in Los Angeles culinary scene with 7th Street Bistro in the 80s, some of you may remember it?  We will be making an exciting announcement about our partnership in the coming weeks and look forward to celebrating the spring with you again, paired with some lovely flavors of summer and bites of sunlight.

Stay tuned for more exciting news!

Bisous,
